PROGRAM 03 · FROM $85/SESSION
1-on-1 Coaching
One coach, one athlete, one goal. Fully individual programming and a standing appointment that makes skipping basically impossible. The fast lane.
For post-PT rebuilds, specific goals with a deadline, schedules that laugh at class times, and people who simply do better with an appointment and a handshake.

How it runs
Some goals don't fit a group template. Rebuilding a deadlift after a disc flare-up. Training for a fire academy test in ten weeks. A left knee with two surgeries of history and strong opinions. Or the simplest reason there is: you know yourself, and you know you'll show up for a person in a way you won't for a schedule.
One-on-one at ESC is the full treatment: a private assessment, a program written for exactly one human, and a standing weekly slot with your coach — same time, same face, every week. Between sessions you get homework you can actually do and a coach who answers texts about whether that twinge is a thing. (Usually it isn't. Sometimes it is. That's why you have us.)
Most 1-on-1 clients run a hybrid after the first month or two: one private session a week plus group classes on our program. It's the strongest combination we offer, and it's cheaper than three privates a week — we'll tell you that upfront, because upselling people into sessions they don't need is how gyms lose the neighborhood's trust.
What you get
- Private movement assessment and goal-setting session
- Fully individual programming — written for you, revised weekly
- A standing weekly appointment with the same coach
- Text access to your coach between sessions
- Rehab-aware coaching — we work alongside your PT, not around them
- Hybrid pricing: add unlimited group classes for $99/mo
- Packs of 10 bring the rate down — no expiration games
1-on-1 Coaching: asked and answered
How is $85 a session justified versus $189 a month for group?
Different tools. Group is the best value in the building and we say so constantly. One-on-one buys sixty minutes where the coach thinks about nobody but you — worth it when you're working around an injury, chasing a deadline, or need the accountability of a human waiting on you. Many clients do four privates, then switch to group. We consider that a success, not a lost sale.
Can you work with my physical therapist?
Yes, and we'd rather. With your OK we'll talk to your PT directly, get the do's and don'ts in writing, and program inside those lines. Several Austin PTs send us their graduates because we're the gym that actually reads the discharge notes.
Do you do 1-on-1 nutrition too?
Nutrition coaching is its own program (from $99/mo) and stacks cleanly with 1-on-1 training. Same coach where possible, one conversation about the whole picture.
