Strength training for Windsor Park

Windsor Park runs about twelve minutes north of the club, and the neighborhood sends us a steady stream of people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who read one too many articles about muscle mass and longevity and decided to do something unfashionably effective about it. They are, collectively, our favorite demographic to coach.

If you're coming from Windsor Park, odds are you care less about a beach body and more about carrying your own groceries at 80, keeping up on the Mueller trail with the grandkids, and making your annual physical boring again. That's not a consolation-prize goal — that's the actual point of strength training, and our 8-week blocks are built to chase it safely.

Who trains here from Windsor Park

  • The longevity crowd — training for bone density and grandkid-carrying
  • Bartholomew Park pool swimmers cross-training in the dry months
  • Empty nesters converting the kid-taxi hours into barbell hours
  • Nurses from the St. David's corridor on rotating-shift schedules
  • More than one couple whose date night is Tuesday 5:30 p.m. squats
